The shield has stood up well. I bought it back in July and only recently needed to re-glue the handle back in. I have to say that they shield is a little thick and I am planning on adding a couple inches to the diameter. The cover was a little large for the shield as well. Over all its a great product.

Bought a pair of these two years back, just needing to re-glue the handles. After a year of use, the front started to give way where the foam was thin for the handle, but a simple mod was all it took to be good as new. The way they do handles now may have changed since, but I am still very satisfied with my shields.
